Great Hearts Academies are tuition-free K-12 public charter schools that offer a rigorous classical liberal arts curriculum including advanced math and science, robust arts and foreign language classes, and a wide range of extra-curricular activities and athletics. Great Hearts Arlington is the Charter School Network’s second campus in Tarrant County. The new campus serves approximately 600 students in grades K-5 and is expected to expand a grade level each year until it becomes a fully enrolled K-12 campus.
Phase I of the development consisted of survey and civil design for the 69,000 square foot two-story building, storm water detention facilities, playgrounds, athletic fields, drive lanes and parking. The project also included TxDOT coordination for new traffic signal design and roadway improvements on both Cooper Street and Eden Road.
