We’re excited to share that mma has been selected to support the City of Arlington’s 150th Anniversary public art installation, “Touched by Time.”
Approved by City Council in April, the project will bring a signature iconic sculpture to Founders Plaza — designed as a centerpiece for Arlington’s sesquicentennial celebration and a reflection of the city’s past, present, and future.
This project is especially meaningful to the mma team as our headquarters — and much of our work — are rooted in Arlington.
“We’ve spent decades helping shape places across Arlington and North Texas. This project is really about giving back to the community that’s shaped who we are and being part of something that will represent Arlington for years to come,” said Jacob Sumpter. “And to make it even more special: the installation site at Founders Plaza is a place we helped create, making this a true full-circle moment for our team.”
mma’s role in the sculpture project includes the development and oversight of construction documents that will guide installation of the sculpture and surrounding areas of Founders Plaza. This means working closely with the artist to help turn the artistic vision into a fully realized space.
Installation is planned for late 2026 as part of Arlington’s 150th anniversary celebration. We’re proud to play a role in delivering a unique project that will become a lasting part of this community’s story.
