mma’s Cliff Mycoskie Honored with Star Award

Congratulations to Cliff Myscoskie, mma founder and current shareholder, for his recent Star Award from the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce. The award is the Chamber’s highest community service honor, given to individuals who have made significant and lasting impact in the community.

Cliff was recognized for his role in shaping the landscape of Arlington for more than 40 years. Cliff worked on projects including The Levitt Pavilion, Globe Life Field, the Arlington Highlands and Six Flags Over Texas. He served on a variety of boards and commissions including the Arlington Parks Board, the P&Z Commission, the River Legacy Foundation, The Levitt Pavilion and the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce Board.

Cliff founded what would become mma in 1999 after an already successful career in multi-disciplinary landscape architecture and full-service construction. An Arlington native, Cliff attended UTA and SMU. He’s now retired but continues to be involved in civic and community efforts.

“We’re always proud to honor Cliff,” says Jacob Sumpter, mma President. “He’s meant so much to many of us at mma as a leader, mentor and friend, and his impact in the community is unmatched. Congratulations to him on this latest well-deserved recognition.”
